I have gone there with very low end characters in an attempt to get those skills up. It has worked, but I have expired on more than a couple of ocasions. I have been fortunate enough that EVERY time, there was someone to give me an AN CORP to save me some hassle. It still seems to be worth the hassle even if I had to find a healer and recall back. Time saved at blackrock means more time to have fun later on!

How hard are those Ele's to take down? I wonder what kind of loot they give

they are pretty nasty. I havent killed any, but those vortexes get HUGE when they start attacking...

loot isnt any good compare to how hard those things are to kill, never killed a vortex yet tho, those things are by far the worst of em all

The only way I have heard of anyone taking one down is by Provo'ing 2 others onto one. They said it still took quite a while too...

They said that the loot wasnt even on par with a Vally Ele.

Was talking to a guy who took on a blackrock ele with a team took half an hour and the loot was NAAF not worth it and if you lure them far enough away from their spawn spot they just poof away yay!!!

Going Back To DIP's Question Toxic Oozes Arent Much Fun But Handy Mage And A Nightmare will do the trick ether vortex's are considiberally harder But Criags Cu Sidhe Took One Down But! The BlackRock Elementals Are Virtually Impossible I have only heard of a few times when one has been killed

Good to know, I was a little sarcastic 'cause those things are virtually unbeatable unless you get them to beat themselves (provokers).

I "kill" them by making them poof when they chase me
