Poisoning Skill level

Can a person w/ no poisoning skill still hit someone w/ deadly poison if it is on the blade? Also, how does the upgrade work w/ mages/necros?

Blade with Deadly Poison without poisoning skill = Yes.

Magery: Poisoning + Magery skill >= 200 for a "bump" in poison level. (same goes for weapon skill + poisoning skill levels)

If you put dp on a weapon, it will still poison a person, but it wont be dp, it will be lvl 1 poison. You need to have some poisoning to bump it up a level.

Oops, yeah, meant to say you will still poison somoene, but not at DP level.

A Ninja can inflict Deadly Poison without having the Poisoning skill by using Fukiya Darts or Shuriken that have been DP'd.

Strangely enough, my Elder Fencer can boost her poisonings occasionally. She uses a dagger or Kryss with Level 1 poison, and on occasion hits so precisely that the poison inflicted is Level 2 poison. Didn't know that could happen.

I would say if she is human, that would explain it. Other than that, I have zero idea why it would do it.

yah, 20 would make enough of a difference in facturing towards the poison + weapon total.

ok so I guess me DP'ing my friend's wep w/ poison is a waste of charges since they have 0 poisoning skill and I might as well put lesser posion charges so at least they will not have to recharge wep so much.
