is this one of those skills you can just 8x8.. if so... i must be screwing it up some how.... can you target self or do you actually need to peace something??

You don't need to 8x8 at all actually.
Just slow forward while area peacing (targeting yourself)

music and peacemaking should go up simultaniously to a certain point which I think is mid 80s if not higher...

no matter.. I gmed music anyway.. i thought it might make Peace a lil easier, and there really was nothing to it

Way i GM it last night... now i just have to get it to 115.... (im too poor to buy the 20's PS...)

I use the slow forward instead of an actual 8x8. I'm only at 75 on my Peacer, I wasn't sure how far the boat would take me......

I suggest locking music at 100 till you are done with the rest of your barding skills. For some reason the gains work better.
And you can go to 120 slow forward on a boat with both music and peace.

so far im at 100.6... but i haven't really tried to gain today...
