I have necro on my template for Kalnar who is my fighter and I wondered if I should drop it? When I raised it, I thought it would be super useful to have on him for for vampire embrace and now I have found myself not using it and forgetting I have the option.

Here is his template:

Tactics 113.2 (scrolled to 120)
Anatomy 110 (locked)
Healing 104.8 (scrolled to 115)
Swordsmanship 96.6 (scrolled to 120)
Resisting Spells 93.8 (will be 100)
Chivalry 80 (locked)
Necromancy 72 (locked, 100 with jewels)

Should I drop necro for parry? or bushido? suggestions are appreciated!

I'd go for Parry as well. most of my warriors have Parry and we all love it!

the trouble you have is you have chiv which needs good karma and necro which needs bad karma, my main dude has swords,tac,anat,heal,necro,spirit and parry i prefer necro to chiv but thats just my thoughts, i find vampire form vry handy!!

vamp form is nice, but chiv gets cons weapon which hits the lowest resist. also with enemy of one, chiv can put out some serious damage.

for sure! pally's get some very nice special moves, my necro warrior used to be a pally before he turned to the darker side of some skills, its all down to your own style, you will struggle if you have both, as both types need the neg or pos karma to power the damage and effectivness of each of there powers... if you did drop necro you could always add parry and bushido and drop resist spells and have a nice pally/sam and become a evasive killing machine.... choices choices............

yep for sure i have a necro/pally right now, and while vamp form + cons weapon and enemy of one is nice. i'm changing him because he's too hard to keep in that karma balance.

would be cool if you could keep both and have like a fallen paladin type class if you mixed the class's together, I know thats sorta what a necro is but... could have nice skills I imagne if chiv as a fallen paladin was also powered with neg karma.

i got rid of my necro warrior after about a week, because it was just too annoying to play for me. Necro mages, however, are very fun.

thanks, the rp aspect of necro/chiv is cool and thats what i have for one of my characters, but when you actually try to fight with him thats another story.

I don't know, I spent the weekend re-vamping my main Necro/warrior Archaon and I have been impressed with the results.. the first thing I did was change to an elf via the Human/elf quest, then I used a soul stone to transfer a saved chiv of 87 i had to him while saving my 100 Spirit Speak in another soul stone.. I then unlocked my karma and went to the painted cave and killed so many Trogs and after about just 20 mins i went from the dread lord to the illust Lord and on my way to pos karma! then took a trip to daemon temple and after a while got up to the glorious lord and have not died *touch wood* and stayed in vampire form... it is great!! i can take things so much easyer then i could as just a necro/warrior... now my vamp form is great life leach and poison immune and th paladin abilites are kicking butt!! i even solo'd lurg and his little black bear Grobo!!!! in painted cave!!! woo (does Lurg have any good loot? he is quiet tough with a large amount of hp, yet i have killed him 2 or 3 times and no good loot yet, just grobo's fur off grobo)
