![]() | Does this still excist? I remember it used to add some kind of bonus if you had GM lumberjack with your swordman and used an axe. I dont know if this still the case any longer. I have a Palidin swordsman with GM lumberjack and was wondering if any could tell me if it was worth keeping the lumberjack skill with this template or would it be better to trade it in for Parry skills |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: LumberJack Bonus There is still a 30% damage bonus for GM lumberjacking, but instead of being 30% of all damage (the old way) it is now only 30% of the base damage of the weapon itself. That means that GM lumberjacking will only add about 5 damage a hit, and when you calculate your target's resistances, that 5 damage becomes about 2 damage a hit. Ultimately lumberjacking is a good expenditure of 100 points if your goal is to get wood. There are new kinds of wood for crafting (frostwood, blood wood, heartwood, yew, ash, oak), so if you have a carpenter or fletcher, having a lumberjack is very useful. Also, it is possible to get high end woods and trade them in at the library for quests to get nice items. But for PVM LJ is hard to justify. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: LumberJack Bonus Arjuna has nailed it. Buy a soulstone fragment to put your LJ on, and build up Parry for your Paladin swordsman. You can also experiment with Bushido to make that template more effective, although I can't advise you there, being perfectly happy with the pure Paladin. The LJ can make you money and get you good rewards, so by all means store it on a soulstone or soulstone fragment if you aren't going to use it. ![]() ![]() |

![]() | Re: LumberJack Bonus Thanks for the info. Of course I will store the LJ skill on a stone as I do have a carpenter and fletcher. Now its off to train Parry skills. |
