how do i gain eval from 90-120 fastest?

DiPs way seems as good as any. My Necro/Mage/Scribe ate a 110 Eval Scroll AGES ago is still only at like 106.something...

I spun mine up to about 115 from GM while training resist @ blackrock. Point is, it's the right idea to cast low level (1st circle) spells and let Eval raise passively.

Someone posted a map of the Blackrock spawns in another thread. I tried to go to the one far east of Deluccia, but fled as soon as the elementals, toxic oozes, etc aggroed me. Am I missing something, or does going to these areas pose more of a risk than reward in terms of facilitating faster skill gains?

You've got to be careful there.

The ones NE of Papua have a few relatively safe spots, just join the group already there and run when they do.

Well, if you have a Stealther, Soulstone and skills you can work while hidden onto them and it definitely makes it safer. I did Carto and LP like this.

Just to note too, I took my Mage that needs Eval gains up there and just continually spammed Create Food and gained about 3 FULL points in less than an hour. The char is up to 108.something now...

And if your on Cats and you eat some of the piles of food on the ground, your welcome

Well, Ly las wrote this for the resist gain FAQ:

Part III - Skill cap Gains!!

-Put the Resist Jewelry on and equip the Spellbook. If you need to use a weapon, you'll have to get your Real Resist Skill up until your Jewelry alone will reach your cap.
-Open your Skill Window and show your REAL skills. Make sure you can see the Resisting Spells value.
-Go to the Hedge Maze.
-Allow the imps to attack you.
-As each one approaches you, watch your Resisting Spells skill value. If it goes up at all, you are ready for the next step. If it doesn't go up at all after a couple spell attacks from the imp, kill the imp and move on. It is very important that you don't physically attack or cast any offensive spells against the imp!! If you do, the imp can't help you gain anymore, so don' t even let the imp get close to you. I usually lead them towards the hedges then run around them so they don't follow. You can also teleport over a hedge so the imp can't get to you. You may have to go through 100 imps, but once you get the gain, kill all other imps and Daemons except the one you gain from.
-Now that you have the gain, lure the imp into the hedge maze until you are isolated with just you and the imp. Then run or teleport until you have the imp on one side of a hedge and you are on the other. Then just sit back and enjoy the gains! It will take an hour or two.
-If the imp stops casting, cast Weaken on it. DO NOT attack it or cast an offensive spell on it. Occassionally, you won't gain. If you don't gain for about 5 minutes, kill the imp and go find another. This rarely takes more than 1 or two imps.

I would guess that youd need a mage with decent eval that can cast debuffs on you to make use of the Motherlode, though I dont really know...
