Re: Help With Parry Training

I just trained parry using a shield, some Dull copper plate armor my smith made (Dull copper for the higher Physical resist) I went into to Deceit I went into the dungon all the way to the back wall and turn right this will take you to an area where there are skeltons and a few mummies. Let these attack you with no weapon in hand just your sheild. If you have low or no healing skill you will want to take a mage friend with you to train so that they can keep you healed. I went from the 28 skill I bought from training and whent to GM in about 8 hours. I did this in a few different days and I had to repair my armor a few times but the gains where incredible.

Hope this helps you, If you are on Pacific I would be happy to show you the exact location.

Go to the blackrock area and have people beat you up, it works. Went from 34 parry to 114 in a day.

Re: Help With Parry Training

I may have to look for this blackrock area. My main Paladin has been at 109.9 for over a year now. Everything gains except Parry.

Re: Help With Parry Training

best way i found was to get a suit with 70% phy have enuff necro (possibly done with equipment only ie jewelry, spell books and totems) to cast horrific beast form, then head to a farm and tab chickens, sheep, cows or any ole farm animal 6-9 of em (minus bulls). use a two handed weapon for best gains, yes a shield works too but 2 handed weapon seems alot faster. this work well from 40-115. havent trained any higher than 115 but i assume it would take you to 120 becuase the gains never slowed. this way required every little healing and only took about 2-3 hours
