GUIDE: Making Pure White Cloth

I tried what Snowy suggested and tried to lockdown the ones I took to make cloth with but it still didn't work. I see the silk & Mirrorr of Purification both lockdown in a house, so there's a way to do it if anyone can find out. Plz let me know.

The Mirror of Purification should be ok anyway. It is the reward item. It should lock down just fine. It is the Bowl of Clear Water that is the quest item, with that one you MUST send to the bank, then quit the quest or it will decay. My son in law got the Bowl of Clear Water, sent it to the bank, quit the quest, then gave me the bowl, locked down on my floor.

Unless something has changed in the past 5 days, that works. He also did the Spirit Bottle that way. The Silk should work that way as well, although I have not locked it down, I just used it to make cloth. Double check your item when you set it down, make sure you locked it down.. I know that sounds elementary, but even the best of players can say " I wish to lock this down" target and miss the item but think they locked it. I always double check my lock downs. As sure as I don't, I will miss a really valuable one and it will go "poof".

Tks, Snowy, you're right, I mean the Basin of Crystal Clear Water. I tired it but I'll go try it again. Last time it just disappeared when I put it down. I find that I am unable to put some of these items on my vendor which I see others do also. Don't know the trick to that. Thanks for the info. It's appreciated

Be absolutely certain to send it to the bank before you attempt to lock it down or do ANYTHING else with it.

Okay maybe I'm doing this wrong, lol, I have followed the steps, I have even completed the quest! lol, I cant seem to get the sending bag to send the silk to the bank, it keeps sayin that the bag regects the item, can i just kill dread spiders and get it that way! lol

The "quest" to get Pure White Cloth, since it was basically an exploit, has been fixed and will no longer work. The devs only "allowed" it because virtually EVERYONE was making the stuff.

The exploit ended with Pub 39, as I remember.
