i need a template that allows me to RP PvP as an orc without spending too much time training it's skills up. i was thinking on...
magery or necromancy (shaman).
crossbowman.
a melee template that trains quickly.
i hate posting these topics but... oh well

Fastest by FAR would would necro and magery. Use any of th magery traiing techniques in the magery skill section.
1) Raise focus and med to max possible
2) int as high as possible
3) if allowed, use LRC and MR armor, and HP regen 5 (for lich form)(Spell channel shield enhanced with blood wood is a must!)
4) Get boomstick, bright sight and pendant of the magi
5) Raise necro FIRST. As soon as possible, cast Lich form for even MORE mana regen
6) Finsih necro
7) Cast Curse wep until at GM spirit speak
8) Start on magery. At 60 magery (ish), equip a wand (or a weapon with BOTH s/c AND Mage -skill)
9) stop when at cap.

Total time = about 24 hours start to finish for
Focus
Med
Mage
Eval
Necro
Spirit speak

no magical items are allowed to be equipped during RP on europa sorry (this includes lrc, lmc, etc).
but i can try it out i suppose...

But does that include training time? train with the good gear, then swap out during RP? Say, a mysterious shaman from an unknown tribe in the swamps? ( That way you can disguise the fact that you appear out of nowhere fully developed?)

actually when i was on my warrior orc i used full plate and i didn't look orcy at all... basically i was OOC for a time to train my skills up so yeah i can do that

Hmm, Somehow i see orcs as melee only... But i guess its not that fun to play?

necro-archer ... easy kills!

or.. a archery/Swords template.. kinda fitting a orc.. first with bow.. then close range a axe?

needs to be a template thats quick to finish... you can change weapons during combat though correct (sorry my UO account isn't even reactivated yet)? an arrer/choppa sounds nice

oh, orcs can't be just melee... they have shamans, and archers as well... and i think some others...

I know a nice template.

1. archery
2. tactis
3. healing
4. anathomy
5. parry (only if u know much dexx PK/targets on ure shard)
6. bushido (lightstrike hits much much more + horselord ability use)
7. chivalry (consecrate wep etc)

u should try to get TOT's for it (my got all i needed and singles DF)
1. leggs of stability
2. kasa of rai-jin
3. stormgrip
4. horselord
5. arms of tactical excelence
6. heart of lions/violet
7. a nice gorgot

with all these u will not reach 70 but a HUGE stats boost reaching to 150 and hitting fast, than just get hci and DI jewels (no dci , as archer u should evoid any melee dmg!!!). horselord has double shot, so two arrows at once, killing non armor peeps in just one hit! than armor pierce for more armored players *template of 125dexx 75 str and 25 intell and a elf for more mana* also drops dexx 5 and increase str to 80 let u wear the juka king bow wich have slayers on em. the armor isnt rreally looking that RPG alike, but to reach that u are an elf, just pick the sandy skintone! my archer really rocks ure sock, he kills people I donn't like and singles a DF (i got a more RPG archer with barding on it).

mask of orcish skin isnt good, u seen any orc wearing that mask? use the helmet of orc lords! wear normal ringmail and always always keep ure beef with u, orcs always need food and a drink on its time, a jug of cidar is theri type of drink! just be a drunk piece of weak orc!!!!, just like normal orcs

FyI- no HP regen is needed, you will not drop below 1 HP in lich form.

We cant use magic items or lightning strike in RP! Sorry...

Yeah, Baldguy is right, you can churn out a Necro-Mage in a day easy peasy lemon squeezy! And you are allowed to train using magic items...hell i do!
