How much i need poisoning skill to poison weapons with dp? my poisoning is now 85 and it always fails. :S

Isnt there a way that you can poison stuff using your poison and weap skill combined? Like 120 swds and 80 poisoning can do equal to 100 poison? I know I have heard something like this before, but may have misunderstood

You maybe thinking of the Nox Mage
Magery and Poisoning combined will net you a different level of poison.
So 120 mage and 80 Poisoning will net Deadly Poison.

This works with an already poisoned weapon, and will bump the effect by 1. Meaning if you have a weapon poisoned with lesser it will apply regular poison to what you hit.

Poisoning the weapon itself is dependant on your poisoning skill alone.

ahh gotcha. So the mages that throw the fields with 120 mage and 80 poisoning, can up their fields. I was thinking of throwing like 80 poisoning on my necro/mage and wanted to know how that worked before I did it.

Most mages tote only 80 poisoning cause there's only a 20% chance of failing to increase the level of the poison. Noxxers who use weapons almost always go for 100 as you do not want to risk missing that increase ever.
