Changing skills need help on best skill to change to.

I've finally decided I don't want a character with two weapon skills. For years Ive enjoyed the fun of archery and fencing but now I've decided If I want to bring other skills to 120 Im going to need soulstone archery for another char. Basically I will have about 80 skill points what on earth should I use? My guild buddies say get chivalry, but the more I read up on chivalry the more I see it as a noob skill to heal and cure without any healing skills using tithing points and stuff. Then I thought about the parry skill since back when my char was a swordsman he had gm parry and used shields. When I switched to fencing to use a spear i couldnt use a shiled so I dropped parry not realizing parry still helps defense when you use a two handed weapon. Then I thought of bushido. I would like to have more types of attacks and stuff and don't know if bushido or ninjitsu would let me achieve that. If anyone can help me out of which skill would be best please enlighten me.

My current template is.

120 fencing
100 Archery
100 Healing
100 Anatomy
100 Focus
100 Tactics
100 Reisting Spells

I wanna drop archery.

Personally, I would dump Focus and go Chiv and Parry...screw the "noob" skill for Chiv, it has many useful spells aside from cure/heal...in fact, I don't even USE those spells with it. Consecrate Weapon, Divine Fury and Enemy of One, as well as Sacred Journey, are ALL highly useful, spells, some of them quite helpful from the damage perspective.

If you are using a two handed weapon, and don't want Chiv since you perceive it as a "noob" skill, go Bushido with the Parry, but if you use a one handed weapon and use Bush, don't use a shield as it actually reduces your chance to parry.

Well, that "noob" skill Chivalry gives you Divine Fury that will nicely restore your dex/stamina to max. Sorry cade, I seem to be picking on you and I don't mean to, it's been a long week. I'm a Focus hater...have no use for it. For a dexxer, build your suit around MR2 pieces, then use a nice Mana Leech wep like a Soul Seeker...using that, even without Med or Focus you will restore all your mana in a couple hits. If you run low on stamina, cast Divine Fury and you are golden. Oh wait, Divine Fury, there's another noob Chiv spell again..........

Is this temp for pvp or pvm? If both what is your main objective in pvp?

If you plan on pvping with the template you can do a couple of things.

120 fencing
120 tactics
100 healing
100 anat
120 resists
80 poisoning
60 chiv

If you prefer a template that will be harder to hit you can go with
120 fencing
120 tactics
100 healing
100 anat
120 resists
120 parry
40 focus/chiv/spellweaving/????basically whatever you want.

There are MANY more templates that you can set up just depends on what you want to play skill wise.

Here is a base
120 fighting skill
120 tactics
100 healing
100 anat
120 resists

This leaves you 160 skill points to put into whatever you want. There are things you can lower in this template to work out more skill points though if you want to do other crazy things. Me personally because of all the archers on chessy use a parry macer.

6x 120 Macing, tactics, anat, healing, resists, parry.
You build your suit around a totem, rune beetle, and fey leggings using pieces of armor with MR 2 and some LMC for gloves, arms and gorget. Get a decent 50 EP ring and a min. of 45/45 hci/dci preferably stacked higher to null the affects of hld and hla. You'll want to also try to make your suit corpse proof so try and fine a scribe to make you some magic reflect and reactive armor scrolls. You ask why a 50 ep ring when you are parry and need your shield?? Well disarming your shield to chug if quick with UOa plus you still have a fairly good chance to not get hit without your shield, but just disarm chug and rearm.
