been looking threw here and couldnt find much of anythign on blacksmithing.

I had a GM smith and new a little of the new fetures etc. wondering if anyone knows any guids out there to help me relearn. Seen several on skill gains but none explaining how to enhance items and so on.

Enhancing items is tricky since for the most part you destroy the item. Keep in mind only enhance an item you are willing to lose. For enhancing, I would suggest getting to Legendary smith (120 smithing) and a +60 Ash Hammer so you will have a total of 180 skill points for enhancing an item. Also have a good totem to help you out that gives bonuses. You enhance items by changing the type of ore being used ont he menu when double click your smith hammer and ten target the item you wish to enhance. Note though, you can only enhance items that are made of iron so if you create a wep w/ shadow iron ingots that is it no more enhancing since it has a property already. Also artifacts cannot be enhance either.

The recipes for various new weps are part of quests and such. Ingredients for these weps can get expensive and sometimes are not worth the money.

BODS are a whole otehr story and I think someone else in forums has much more knowledge on smithing. I have a smith but just made it to have and have not done BODS (I am lazy).

Good luck w/ enhancing and may the Smith Gods smile upon you so you don not destroy too many items.

O_O I am totally amazed! I actually UNDERSTOOD that chart and conversation! Most the of time when you guys get talking I tilt my head in confusion not sure what most are talking about... but for once! Yay!

I also found Tower of Roses helpful, they have essays also.
