For some unknown reason, it seems that the rudest players I ever met in my life are those on the Legend server. There was an exception or two but that was all I found.

I have asked a time or two if I could get a gate somewhere, where there is no moongate. With the exception of one person running to the moongate to travel where I needed to go so he could mark a rune, not one person was willing to provide the gate. Of course that one person came back saying sorry, well if I was able to get there using the moongates, I would have.

There was a time or two that I asked a question or two, but not a single reply. Not everyone was afk, as there was a few who moving around, talking, ect.

The second person that said anything was the word Sorry, he didnt know I was killing a mob, even though I was clearly casting a spell and the mob was the only one in sight.

I asked in Brit, though there is hardly anyone ever there anymore, in Luna and in New Haven.

So all I can say, is Legend Players are the rudest and the worst that I ever met.

I moved on to another server, asked the same questions, asked for the gate to same locations and low and behold, my question and request was answered.

I can only hope the Legends goes back to AOL subscribers only and is allowed to let die.

there are rude people on every shard. Also note that there might have been some players which english is not their primary langauge. There is no restriction on which shard one plays. Glad you found a shard to you liking. please enjoy the adventure.

Well I think it really does depend - I've started making a char on every server, simply because I wanted to know how the community is, and I've noticed you have the good and bad on every server... Usually though the only way to get help anytime soon is to post here in the shard forum or on stratics.

Well, the thing is, you have more chances to get helped on more populated servers.
Plus I believe some servers have more community spirit than others due to their particular history. Each shard is different!

But idiocy is a worldwide rule... You can't do anything about it, just ignore it and make the best out of the rest!

Honestly man you just need to get over it, you made the same type of post on Stratics legends servers.

Here's some facts for ya:

1. Legends isn't as populated as say Great Lakes or Atlantic
2. As far as your question being answered, did you ever think that maybe they just didn't know? I had a teacher that use to tell me that if the answer was "I don't Know" then just don't say anything.
3. As far as the gate, ever think that the people that weren't afk weren't mages?
4. In essence you are going to find a jerk or 100 everywhere you go, I've had more success on legends then anywhere else personally and have met some of the nicest people on legends.

When Sosaria Live (An Old online UO Radio Station) Did Their Charity event it was LEGENDS that raised the most gold to be sold for RL cash to be donated to Red Cross for the Katrina Relief Fund. Legends alone provided 30% of the total gold raised.

T*T (a legends originated Guild) have in the past 3 years given away Millions upon Millions of gold to the community. Including a Tram Castle, Full Soulstone tokens, Tokens of all kinds for that matter, Artifacts (Doom - back when they actually had value), and have even given away trained up accounts to returning vets that we don't even know.

I have personally built about 100-150 LRC suits for new characters and helped a countless amount of people with things asking for nothing in return. Plain and simple this looks like a case of right place, wrong time. If I were on I would have gladly helped you but at this point your whining and crying is just getting on my nerves and now you're just coming off as one of those players that doesn't really care about the game but cares about the hand outs.

I'm glad I won't have you on my shard, there are enough beggers already. When I first started, I didn't ask for help and I walk around wherever I needed to be no matter how long it took, plain and simple if you aren't willing to put in the work then you don't deserve a reward!

Also... spamming questions at the bank is not the way to do it if you're looking for help. We're trained to ignore most bank spam because it's usually unremarkable and annoying. Try partying someone or asking them by name for help. If someone stops me and says Gaspar, could you help me out here?... I'd stop ignoring the spam around the bank and focus on the conversation. And of course, if it was within my means to gate you, I would. People don't want to be treated like walking moongates all the time, especially if we got used to running everywhere before we had the ability to gate ourselves.
