I think my guildmate just bought it....

There were only so many of these ever created and now that the dupe was dealt with the original number or less are in existence so 6 could even be a high estimate on the actual amount still in the game.

I once had lots of cash in UO, about 130mil... but I have NO idea where it went :S

Oh yeah, bought an orny, that went belly up on the price (40 to 8mil)... other than that, no idea!

I would be wary of buying any of these event items that far too many people have.

I have seen like 6 people on Atlantic running around in it.

I would not be surprised at all if these had the "vince cord change" in the future....

The talkeesh, necro, acid robes would scare me on purchasing.

UO could easily destroy them.

The only items duped that I dont see UO destroying are DOOM arties...everything else could possibly be destroyed.

What surprises me is that it doesnt seem anyone attempted to dupe an UBER weapon.

It is easier to dupe gold and checks then just buy the weapon then attempt to dupe the weapon. I have turned in my share of dupers over the years, and nearly all of them duped gold or items that could be sold quickly. not the rarer items. the vinecords are the prime example everyone knew there were only one maybe two pairs, but then they started showing up everywhere. Everyone should have know they were going to get screwed over. It was just a shame that EAMythic took so long to fix them, that the dupers got away with the gold from selling them. It would be nice in the future that EAMythic moves faster to crack down on this type of incident, but with their past track record I doubt that will happen.
