Spring cleaning jewls set

I recently just got the jewl set and am wondering if the prices will increase or decrease because i am planning on leaving uo for about a year.

depends on how long EAMythic leaves the turn in on, if they shut it off in the next few weeks, prices will slowly rise. If they leave it on until christmas or even next spring off course prices will fall as more and more people get enough points to get what they want. So best guess? Sell now and you might be lucky enough to buy it back for less when you return to UO.

Friendly, if sad, note:

With the latest iteration of quest points, and the fact that a single player can easily amass 300K points in under three hours, you will find it nearly impossible to sell your items now.

Your best hope is to hold on to them and try to sell in a year or more. Possibly in 3 years or more, if UO survives.
