It's an old way of marking exceptional furniture. The labeling has now changed, rendering the items with this label as "rares". Personally I find that sort of thing a bit far fetched. But some folks have nothing better to do with their gold I guess. *shrugs*

Exactly. "Of Exceptional..." items are about as "rare" as ID wands. In fact they're probably more common but either way they're certainly not "super rare". This is right up there with blackmoor being sold for a million gold per piece. Something I still find in every other IDOC I pick through and something I still can't bring myself to keep as it's...just..."super common".

I thought the actual "super rare" description took the cake, though.

Wow.. I'm RICH!!!! I have one of those sitting in front of my loom.. plus several full sets of leather armor that say that.. plus weapons that say that.. plus Blackmoor.... oh .. I need to take inventory.. I may have to sell out and retire to a private desert island!!!

In the Ranger Huts outside Skara, you can get armor and bows facing the opposite direction. They would try to sell those for rares too I bet.
