Largest UO collection Sold to "Of The Rings"

Per buyer, I am posting this announcement here.

The player known as "Of the Rings" has successfully transfered me the agreed price for my collection, and I have delivered the items to him. I am truly grateful for his constant communications by phone, e-mail, stratics pms, and instant messaging. He was very delightful and polite to do business with. I would recommend him above all players I have done business with in this game.

If there was an item in the collection you were interested in you may contact him at ICQ# 376222584 although he has expressed no interest in reselling any of the items since I have asked him on behalf of everyone who participated in the auction.

Again I appreciate everyone who supported me, and I look forward to continue playing UO time permitting. Best of luck to you all!!!

The insular stratics community is a joke. Of the Rings has been a excellent consumer of goods in the past and a good person to do business with when i was selling rares/event items

Far from a joke imo. The stratic community had good reasons to be suspicious. It would have been a joke if none said anything about the whole situation.

The fact remains that he bought a huge collection similar to the one who got hacked.

Of the rings seems like a good buyer (polite, great communication etc), but this doesnt say anything about the possibility of him being the scammer or buying the scammed collection knowing that it were stolen goods.

I myself dont know what to believe, but above all I feel sorry for the scammed collector who quit UO.
