Re: Woo-hoo!!!
My first house was...well...it wasn't. It was a tent. A pretty shade of blue as I recall.

Re: Woo-hoo!!!
Congrats! I remember my first home..... A small marble house. But back then they were still worth a bit even as small as they are. Congrats!

Re: Woo-hoo!!!
That's better than my first house, but mine had a history too. I was playing in Haven and noticed this guy apparently training and barely making it. After the second night, I moved in closer and began healing him off and on. After that we hunted together, in Haven, several nights. Then he moved on to other things, and we lost touch. A couple months later, I received an ICQ from him, asking me to meet him at the Haven Bank, where he proceeded to give me his Vet Rewards and several other things worth probably 5 or 6 Mil. He had an older account but had not played in a while, and had made a new character. Then he stripped naked and ran out into the wilds to die! Or log out. The main thing is he left.
We didn't get what the items were worth, but we ended up with enough money to buy an L Shape House, which still stands, on the road Northward from Trinsic, just behind the first small outpost building. We scratched and pooled money until I could buy it. But my benefactor, Barbavis, is Memorialized by Naming my runebook after him. I certainly never expected a week of hunting with someone would get me a house in the long run!

Re: Woo-hoo!!!
Funny thing about my place is that I'm getting to know the person who helped me out and she's a real sweetheart.
And I think you can figure out the rest. |

Re: Woo-hoo!!!
Houses? Houses you say? With four walls and a roof?
Why back in my day, we were lucky to have a drafty old tent, that wouldn't even keep the bugs out......... Well done. Enjoy it. Always a great feeling to have place of your own.
