Tal's Office and Private Tavern

Here are some screenshots of my general place of business. As you can see, I love gardens... and hate neon. *chuckles*

From left to right, top to bottom:

2nd Floor, technically the first floor you can enter: Formal hall, for weddings and perfromances, adjacent to my office.
1st Floor, though only accessible from the 2nd: A conference room, for discussing things obscure, arcane, and terribly boring.
3rd Floor: Tavern, with a Mud Wrestling pit (a must have for any REAL tavern).
4th Floor: Rooftop garden, with a private area for performing, and nooks for conversation.
The last picture is just of the exterior, with all the ivy and flowers (my favorite)!

I wish I had an ounce of artistic flair within me, my idea of a home in UO is an 18x18 dirt plot

I am glad you like that one. I don't get much of a chance to show them off these days, as most players these days are petrified of Fel.

*chuckles* you and me both.. I have 3 floors, thus I have three rooms.. hehe.. I tried to be creative and went to split one floor up in to rooms, but got the gump that all elven containers must be unsecured in order to customize.. had just stacked and secured 15 rarewood chests.. I'll stick to 3 floor and 3 rooms..

...which has to be one of the stupidest design decisions ever. Why in the world did the change the way deedable furniture worked from "human" stuff to "elven" so as to make it such a pain to customize your house? I can understand that parrots and aquiariums pose some challenges, but they figured out vendors/barkeeps/BOD books/plants, so what's the big deal?

Exactly.. it is rather dumb.. I think it has to do with the little safety (dummy light) they implemented with those pieces though that forces a gump to set security when you place a piece of deedable furniture. So, the trade off is that no one can run crying to UOHall anymore claiming a bug caused their stuff to dissapear overnight when clearly they weren't bright enough or sober enough to remember to lock down their container in the first place. *giggles*

What a Unique and creative house. I love all the floral work everywhere and the fireplace in your tavern area is fantastic. The house is wonderful and TY for sharing hte pics. GREAT DESIGN and DECO

Most excellent...I'm with some of the others; 3 floors, 3 rooms and a roof. Though I did try to get a bit creative on the one floor.
