I hope I'm not wearing out my welcome with all of my questions, but here I go again. I was happy to receive my Christmas gifts when I reactivated my account, so happy in fact that I immediately placed my gingerbread house on the roof of my sandstone. Flash forward to now, and I am starting to feel a little strange about having a Christmas themed gingerbread house on my roof in March. My question is, does anyone know of a (hopefully simple) way to re-deed my gingerbread house, or am I doomed to having to destroy it? If destruction is the only way of getting rid of it, it is not such a bad thing since I have 3 others that aren't placed; however I would like to re-deed it if possible. Thanks for reading my little tale, and thanks in advance for the responses.

Re: Re-deeding house items
D-click and hit it with an axe and it will redeed into your pack for next year. This works for most house addons.

Re: Re-deeding house items
Yup - use an axe on deeded house addons. The message on the screen will be to the effect that you successfully destroyed the item (scary the first time you see it!) but in fact, the deed for the item will appear in your backpack

Re: Re-deeding house items
I used to think it was a very backward way of re-deeding something.
But, if you think about it; hitting something with an axe is how you solve most of your woes in-game (and IRL if you are a deranged axe murderer). |
