Re: Raising House Addons

Is this the statue you mean?

I've got a post "hit a wall" that shows a few deeded add ons like the big globe and the fire pits....

Let me know if thats the statue you were referring to.

Re: Raising House Addons

I don't know about that one since I don't have one, but I know that some of the addons can be lifted. I am in the middle of decorating my two houses atm and I know that you can raise the wall torch and the shadow banner. Maybe it's just something like traditional deco pieces can be lifted and "furniture" can't. But there is a trick to get around it. I had a lot of half walls in my last design that I wanted to use as display areas and changed my mind after I got the dang thing built and after some consideration I decided to place Arcanist Statues of the top of them. Just use square gozas under them. Place the goza first and raise it to the height that you want then place the statue on top of it. Sometimes you have to use more than one goza to "cover" the open area that you are placing on, but it looks fine with more than one. Just remember that you have to have available clearance over whatever you are placing and the roof above, and sometimes you can get stuck wanting to place something in a spot that you can't physically get close enough to. Use gozas to make stairs to get you closer. Put one goza down and raise it 2 spaces, then step onto it. Put another goza down in an adjacent floor tile and raise it 4 spaces and step onto the higher one. Keep following the pattern until you get where you need to be. Again just remember not to hit your head on the ceiling. I will play around with the other addons that I have out and see which ones I can raise and post again later. Hope this helped.

Re: Raising House Addons

Hi Risso,

Just place 4 gozas like so:

raise them to the desired height:

and then target the right front goza (light blue in my pic):

and you've got it:

this statue you can raise to maximum height (as long as there is nothing above it), and once raised to the height you want you can chop the gozas with an axe to give it that floating look.

Floating:

Post a pic when you finish your design please, I would love to see it!

Good Luck!

Re: Raising House Addons

Is that how statuemaker statues can be placed on unused statuemaker statues (which are still in block form).
I always wanted to create a pedestal for my statues that way and saw others had done it but never figured out how to do it.
