I'm in the process of building an archival style site for articles and designs and am in need of user input. What would you like to see, how would you like it to be displayed etc.

As of right now there will be two sections at release. Custom Design and Decorated Homes.

The decorated section will be organized by Shard and then by type, while the custom design section will be organized by Shard then size.

The custom design section will be for architechs only who want to show off their latest designs, these houses will have no decoration in them, they will be structural in design.

The Decorated section is just how it sounds, thats where houses will go that have been fully or even partially decorated.

After that there will be various articles organized by subject of the article and the exact scheme of that I have not figured out yet


What I would like is some input on how you would like to see submissions work, how would you like them organized (instead of Shard/Type, just Shard, or just Type.), etc. I hope to open doors to the site before Christmas and atleast before the new year.

I would say shard first then type. or just types with shard by picture..
Or you could put then into catagories. like cottages n keeps , castles stuff like that. like um.. Customized .. premade. then in there put the type say keeps or whatnot so you click on customized and click keeps and see player made keeps.
and if you click premade then keeps you get osi keeps. ok i'm ramblieing and it's hard talking with myhands to a computer......

That's a good idea you have. Do something like this:

Deco Houses
|Shard
|Type

Designed Houses
|Shard
|Genre (Castles & Keeps, Cottages, Illusion, Funky, etc)

I'd like to see some informative stuff. Like the link to the google video of the L shape stairs. I'm thinkin of doin that in my house.

i find it best to stay out of other people's affairs.

Include a pictorial list of items which can be used as decos or only as decos and not good for anything else ie. the potted plant of old.
