I'm stuck:(

I just bought a new house and I cant seem to figure out how to make an Archway

When I try it ether looks to small and squished or there is a big gap missing in the middle and there is nothing in the menu that will fit the gap. Can some one help me with this please

arches are tough to get right, when they look right they are too small(close together) to fit thru. when making them big enough to fit thru you have to use the flat rectangular piece as a "bridge" between the arches making the top of the arch flat..kinda ruins the effect. There may be a better way but this is what ive seen when trying them out.

ditto. Some of the arch art doesn't even have that flat piece to put in the middle! Even if you're using art that has the flat bridge piece, you can only use one bridge piece in a row (as opposed to making a wider arch with 2 or more bridge pieces). If you use more than one, they'll be marked as invalid tiles and you can't commit your design.

Mucho frustrating!

Yeah

thats actually what I ended up using the sandstone one, seem to be the only one that has the extra pieces that go in the middle section. I wonder why the other forms of arches don't have any middle pieces.

can also fake it buy using a mistletoe deed and hanging it in place of the middle ... looks like it connects and sounds delightful when folks run through it ... plus next month is ...Cupids on the Loose Month

You an also use a flat board (if facing right direction) or vines .. depends on what your archway is for ... like a flower garden could have archway .. with vines ... or a rose trellis .... which would help distract from the missing piece ...

as for why ... well the home modifications have come in sequences to us ... one batch was AOS ... then ML ... then another batch with 9th ann ... that was the shadow/crystal ... so ... they did try to add additional pieces as they introduced more 'sets' .. wish they would go back and fill in whats missing though for the earier designs .... hope that helps some
