I'm new =)

Hey everyone, I've returned to UO in March after a two year hiatus. I kept my account active, so I still have my house and everything. The best part is that my neighbor's house fell while I was away and there's now room on the side to expand (as well as no ugly house blocking my beautiful shrine). Anywho, I was wondering if there was a way to guarantee that if I can't place an 18x18 there (for whatever reason) that I can re-place my house and bring back the design.

Also, I have a museum and library of sorts to display some of my favorite pieces and books. Does anyone have any images and discriptions of how to build display tables or anything like that to display armor and other odd things?

Thanks!

Best bet for placing is to double check on test center if you can. Other than that no guarantees, if you fold your old house, I'd suggest taking images of each floor so you know how to put it back together if you need to.

Best bet on display's is to tour existing locations to see hoe they did it and what may fit your style.

All IMHO

I haven't test it yet, but with the changes in pub 52 you are supposed to be able to demolish your house and be guaranteed an account bound area for a limited amount of time.

*important* before demolishing.
1) You have to pack up all your stuff (so it doesn't hit the dirt).

2) You have to demolish your house and make a new one. there is no special system.

3) I don't think your design will survive the demolition, I could be wrong on that though.

For deco ideas (tables, furniture, etc) you might try www.castlesandcourtyards.com There is a wealth of ideas there, and I'm sure others on these boards know of more sites. Good luck!
