I want to start a town for players...

I may have to train my skills up to fight dragons for money (26.9 magery) to build a ingame village. how will i do this and are there any tips for what i should add, and what a good name should be for the town? what kinds of buildings, what location (on legends) etc.

Just move to Cove player run town instead. It's practically finished.

I've been involved in 2. It takes a number of like minded people and a lot of work. Check out the history of Pax Lair on the Chesepeake shard (thier forums are here on UO:Forums). There are a number of other playerrun towns across the shards of UO. I'd do a lot of research on them, I'd also get involved with one so you can actually see what it takes to do this.
