How do curtains work?

I am considering chosing some curtains with my heritage tokens, but I am wondering exactly how they work. I have seen pics of the curtains in many ways- open, closed, dyed one color, dyed two colors, facing both directions. Do I choose one set of curtains and then decide what to do with it?

Hi Patty Pickaxe - from what I remember you pick one set of curtians and you have a option of dying the panels. I'm not sure exactly how you get them back to white though.

You can choose which direction to face them like the wall shields and if i'm not mistaken you just double click them to open or close them.

I think you can just reset the dye tub or buy a new one and dye them with it that way?

You can get tehm back to white by using the bottle of bleach on them. They have 4 panels that can be dyed.

that's awfully expensive to go back to white isn't it?

A bottle of bleach is gotten from a quest. So no price is involved. Wish i could remember the quest tho. Maybe someone else can.

You use the curtains so you can close them and not see Enigma in the other room!!

The quest is into the Prism of Light and once per character. The cost to get into the Prism is 10k gp, so it is still much more expensive than a dye tub.
