I believe you have to wait 7 days from the time you first originally placed your home before you can place again or recieve one.

If you demolish your home you can rebuild even though it says you can't. BUT you cannot accept an already placed home within the waiting period.

And I think if your friend takes her house down, you could replace in that spot. But I'd get verification from a few folks before actually doing it, or try it on test.
