House Placement Tool
my placement tool is kinda hard to work with. when i try to place a house the little foundation thing is way off to the left of where my mouse shows me placing the house. is this just a bug within the game or is there a way to fix this? thanks for any response or input.

Re: House Placement Tool
you go by the SW corner of the foundation, not your cursor, traditionally when placing the house. only thing you have to guess where the corner of your plot is going is larger things like keeps and castles I think? Never placed one so not sure. Now if you mean the whole foundation is offset totally and your cursor is way off in la-la land no where on the foundation, then it sounds like there's a problem...otherwise, the cursor is in the center of the foundation, not a corner.

Re: House Placement Tool
i mean my cursor is not even anywhere near the foundation. which poses a problem with placing a house. =/. i have tried changing tools and im not really sure what is doing it. my girlfriend has the same problem on her acct on a diff computer. ive searched around for things that might be the problem and have came up with nothing.

Re: House Placement Tool
k...here's what I got in game and tested real quick... if yours looks similar to this it's correct. when you're trying to place, get off your mount and park it somewhere. Go to where you think the corner would be and start working up size. if it looks like a good, big spot, start around 14X14 and put the SW corner of the foundation right at your feet. if it'll fit, it'll move your toon a tile away. keep going up in size and repeating this process and you'll find the largest house that spot will fit. Hope this helps! Remember, it's not where your cursor is, it's where the foundation is that it's placing.

Re: House Placement Tool
easiest way to do ss without a program: hit print screen, open paint, paste, and edit. be sure to save as a jpg file. If you want to use a good program that was made for uo, you can look for one, or try UOSS
glad you got it taken care of though ![]()
