I once seen a so called moving container. this was ment to move youre stuff. it putted all ure belonings in it. than u deleted the house and moved the crate with you to the new location. than unpack it there. thats a great thing when u can only have 1 house
...but for now the best methode will be walls, cheaper than stairs, and they take all space. (walls are 500gc a tile stairs are 500gc a block, wich is 5k for 4 tiles). ofcource this doesnt matter since u get the gold back, but just in case you dont have so much)

I am having this issue right now, I redesigned my house and now have things in the air and cannot get to them. I think I am going to clear it to a bare plot and then commit, then redesign again which should put all my stuff into the moving crate! ARRGGHH what a pain, I spent like 2 hours working on the design and now have to go back and do it all over again!

Why not backup the current design, clear the plot, stack your place with walls and commit?
Then when the stuff is bumped into the moving crate you can enter customize mode again, restore your backup of the original design and commit. Another way to quickly get all your stuff to the ground level is to simply demolish your place ![]() |

that doesn't get it to ground level, a lot of stuff floats in the air and remains locked down for a while... when you re-place, it puts 'most' of it under the house sign, but it's still floating and hard to grab

This is what I experienced, I cleared my plot then used my decorating tool to move all those boxes and things down to earth.... what a pain on those 3rd story items I had locked down! Oh well water under the bridge now... I am spending the next couple days designing my new pad, complete with a spiral stair case and dog pens for some CU's I am going to tame and place!!

release them (ctrl + shift to target) and than go in costumizing mode

Thanks all -
I ended up filling the whole floor with walls, committing, then going back into customize mode to do the "real" customizing. It cost 100k for 2 floors, but of course I got it back when I took down all the walls.
