Changing the name of the owner?

I have a question about house ownership. I have four chars on one account, my first charter has his name on the house, I don't use him anymore and would like to get the name of my main char on the house. Is there anyway of doing that???

Not that I know of without transferring it to someone else and waiting your week then accepting it back with the toon you want's name on it...or demolishing and placing with that one...

I tought that if u deleted ure char it goes automaticly to another one

No i used to make a fake char, put the house on him, and then delete the char, just so people dont know its my house (fel house). Board will hold the name of the placer untill its transferred again. Dont know any other ways...

As far as I know, Calell and McJiff are right - unless a character name change would do it? I know it alters the 'blessed for' name on items, but have no clue if it works on house owner names too. It's an expensive way to try solve the problem though.

btw, I see houses with no owner sometimes, how is this posible? is it a bug?!

(this can be a nice thing if you want to make a public library)

Yes, a character name change would change the name on the house. It takes a couple days sometime, but it happens. However, since he is not using the character, I don't see the sense of paying to do that.

I believe these are all private houses? Only has 2 lines of text on the board right? Those are bugged osi houses from some time back, dont think they will ever decay or drop or vanish...

well I tought it was something with a bug i readed on a site once, that uif you open a house trading gump a 2nd time. never actually tried it but still I am currius about the effect
