Build A Castle/Keep - Challenge?

Has anyone seen any good designs of castles and/or keeps built with an 18x18? Or any medieval fortress designs in general. I have built a few myself but am not entirely happy with them. If anyones up for the challenge lets have a peek and perhaps we can all share ideas

theres a nice one(keep) on cats, wish i would have taken a screeny of it *runs off to try and find it*

I have a bit smaller plot but I might try to do one next time I decorate. My current design kinda stinks...

I need to build it so I have a good place to put my Fountains of Life. I there will be 5 of them.

The Baron's Keep - My Humble Abode

It appears to be an 18x18, designed as a keep.

My latest keep design on a dirt mound, not happy with it at all. It's built on a 15*16 if I remember correctly. It's hard to combine looks with practical usage and a role playing atmosphere all in one.

its 10x's better then what i could ever come up with....... i love the bridge over the "moat". its very creative! nice work

Nice idea, sintoos. One thing that bugs me about those castle walls is they do not have the right tiles to create battlements, its a shame really as they are the best looking walls for a castle. Though I do like your bridge!
