As you all know I want to get into automotives but man this site I am visiting is SO confusing!

It mensions the courses I will take and then it list "General Education Requirments" Is that from high school or is that something I got to take BEFORE my automotive training or what? Does anyone understand what they mean?

Anyone know what is going on? haha! I am not going to be going to it "quite" yet but I want to know what I am doing before going into it... if you know what I mean

You're right that does look confusing. It kinda looked to me like the page on transfer was also listing the classes that would go towards an associate of arts degree which is just a general kind of degree. My theory is that you have to take 15 hours worth of courses from that list. It's pretty awesome that they lay out the more specific courses for you like that. I remember many a terrible trip to the biology counselor's office where I would ask what I needed to graduate, and the response would be "what kind of classes are you interested in" this is during senior year when I only need like 20 credits to graduate. Worst counselors ever. I'm excited for you, starting school is always a great time lots of exciting things to do. Best of luck!

Yeah but they want me to take ALL them General Required classes?! That is going to kill me! hehe =P Or just 1 from ever catigorey or uhh something? lol sorry as you can tell I am still fairly confused...

And thanks Fred! Yeah I can not wait until I can "actually" START at this stuff I am so worried about the math portion to this stuff though because I was never really good at it... =/ But I got to keep trying this is something I truely want to get into... I am going to stick to it most defintally!

nahh just 15 credit hours, which would most likely be 5 classes since most are 3 hour classes. You might have to take certain ones from each category or something. I know I barely eeked one of my general requirements the last semester because I didn't realize I needed to take anything.

Ah okay awesome! Thank you so much Fred!! That makes me happy! 15 hours isn't really that much when I can go right on ahead into the proffession study I want! ^_^
