I think this could be the saddest thing wilki has ever done. To resort to calling this group racist and discuss their moral compass. I always thought that EA wasnt supposed to discuss actions taken against individuals and guilds, but yet hear Wilki is taking a victory lap while the major issues of the day exist. Its also worth noting that while he was showing off his bravado he had failed to mention to the UO community that the asians shards where on a different publish then the rest of the shards, meaning people could not x shard between, would have been nice to alert the customer base of the situation before explaining how this "stupid" group of hackers wasn't going to be effective for much longer.

um...he wasn't doing any victory lap. just used those people as an example i believe, but that wasn't what the 15 trillian was about..that group's been gone a while. And it wasn't sad at all. sure seemed like a typical rant that you might see on other message boards, so maybe the 'masses' can actually 'understand' it.

I think it was great that he stood up for himself. The dude gets blasted on a daily basis. I think every word he said there was true. It was no victory lap. He is not some almighty being who has to adhere to some holy speaking tactic. He spoke his mind.....pwned by wilki again

I loved it all but one part..

What if people are unintentionally buying gold or items from the "bad" people.. but very much value their accounts? Hopefully there is a way to sift through and remove the guilty without dragging down the innocent as well in the plots and planning going on. Perhaps give people a slight warning to stop buying or doing whatever activities that could be considered flag raising and list those activities or sources. My rl hubby had bought gold right before the wipe and has not heard from the person since. >_< Hate to see us lose his two accounts (as well as one of my rune libraries that is on one) due to not knowing the seller was a duper or not.

I truly hope the cheaters start getting the message ..
if you cheat, we dont want you playing with us ..
I really, really, really do!

I'm not out to make or have everything that there ever could be in uo ..
and if I did have it I would just give it away ...

Honest and hard working players deserve the respect and recognition
for all they do instead of a few twerps stealing it away from them like it is trash.

Thren, hopefully they will put into place the same mechanics they did with the
last cleaning out ... they were able to tell those who were more than likely innocent
in having a check or two over the 1mil allowed compared to those with several - many ...

However, it's a good point and I hope one of the representatives can put our minds at ease on it
