Another patch, another set of cliloc strings: make of them what you will!

This is the interesting part, to me. Check the wispish reference: Xorinia! Now all we need is an alagner spawn... (or my guess is that we will be using the ophidian journals or some other source of information).

What sucks is that all 4 of those are 'failure' messages!

Okay how and where did you find those? Very interesting indeed! Wild energies? And we HAVE spoken to wisps before.....

Go to C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Ultima Online Mondain's Legacy (or where ever you installed UO) and open the file "Cliloc.enu" with notepad for the english cliloc.

Voila. The ones that end in .deu are in german, .esp spanish, .jpn is japanese and so on.

Yup, and the pattern of speech is the same as it was in 6. Never got as far as the wisps in 7 though... the game always seemed to get "plot-bugged" for me, though I might try again with Exult now that I have it all installed.

If you are curious about the Xorinia stuff, I've posted a little bit on UOCodex.com forums (the third post down). I wasn't planning on "going live" so to speak, at this point, but somebody has already linked to me from Stratics (I got found by Yahoo/Google quicker than I thought I would be ) so what the hay. I still have a lot to do, but I'll get to it as I can.

Anyways, the info I posted was from mostly Ultima VII and mostly goes into detail about Xorinia, Wisps, the Time Lord, etc.

DO NOT GO TO THE LINK ABOVE IF YOU WANT TO DISCOVER THINGS IN-GAME!

While it's highly unlikely that Draconi, etc., completly followed Ultima V/VI/VII, there is a high probability that some of what I posted will be in-game, since it's pretty deliberate on the part of the designers.
