Actually the Dev Team has been pretty busy for quite a while now, but yes and Why are the devs so quick to fix bugs with the personal attendants, yet it takes them months (if not years) to fix other simple bugs? Ando In this particular case we were dealing with a client crash that some Japanese players who just bought the new box were encountering. Generally crashes that are introduced into the game receive emergency patches as soon as they are fixed, especially when they are new and affecting a number of people, like in this case. Other fixes to the Personal Attendants have been more in the form of polish, similar to what the Dev Team tries to do with any new feature released. In my opinion, it's important to fix bugs with new features as soon as possible since the design and the code is still fresh in everyone's mind. and I am getting rather ticked off at the length they are going to perfect personal attendents, yet they won't bother fixing the bug where your life bar can go perma-green/yellow if you cross a server line. Or the bug where buff icons don't disappear from the bar unless they get cast again. But heaven forbid something is misspelled on the new personal attendents, it might affect sales! Ando I wouldn't get too upset over this. The Dev team basically had to ship Pub41 when it did because of a deadline that couldn't slip. So this resulted in Personal Attendants going to Origin a little sooner then they probably should have, and a few bugs slipping through that normally would have been fixed before the release. To compensate, the Dev Team agreed to fix a few of the outstanding bugs in an out of cycle publish. However, this was being done while Pub42 was being started by the rest of the Dev Team. One thing I think what you're seeing that's different from how things were done in the past is that this Dev Team is has been more willing to release bug fixes related to new content right away after they are finished. You saw this with Targeting and Buff/Debuff in Pub40, and now you are seeing it with Personal Attendants. In the past a bug like this still would have been fixed regardless, however it would not have been released until the next official publish (sometimes months away) because it was not an emergency type of issue. I think overall this is a benefit to players since it means they don't have to put up with new bugs for as long as they once did.
