Although, I do have a question, isn't circumventing a ban against the TOS?

These brokers who are back in business, selling items with new accounts, shouldn't they be periodically re-suspended for essentially going behind the back of the dev team and re entering the game they were barred from playing, while doing the same thing that got them banned in the first place?



Theretically, I'm pretty sure circumventing the ban is indeed against the TOS. Given how fast some brokers have gotten back into business, I do hope the devs are taking various means of tracking them back down.

Last time I checked, character names in UO were not unique... that would vastly reduce the likelihood that we'd post character names, notwithstanding all the other privacy policy issues.

...but if my name is same as some duppers' then I want to know about it... and maybe change it since I can't stand people talking about me behind my back! And that also means more money for EA when I buy a name change thingy
