I know Ive beaten this subject to death, but its been a year since mondains legacy and 0 skill passive detect. The thread on the developer thread on stealth no longer exists. Will my thief ever be able to snoop someone again without being revealed by someone doing nothing more than standing there? I refuse to take forever to make one character on siege. Will stealth be fixed or not? There's nothing unusual about a bug that lasts a year or more in UO, and there are more pressing matters (ie. issues that affect more popular playstyles) to deal with first. No one (I hope) is putting a gun to your head and threatening your life in order to make one character on seige. The choice is yours alone. It is unreasonable to ask whether or not any bug will be fixed at all, as you know perfectly well. It will be fixed when the devs get around to it if they find it more important than other long standing bugs to fix.

There's nothing unusual about a bug that lasts a year or more in UO, and there are more pressing matters (ie. issues that affect more popular playstyles) to deal with first. People who had or have thieves do one of two things. They play UO anyways, or they quit UO altogether. Is players quitting UO good for the game? Subscriptions dont get cancelled for no reason at all and UO has lost alot of subscriptions because of nerfs that effectively wipe out entire classes of characters

i havent used my stealther since ml. something ungratifying .... 220 skill points totally countered by 0 skill points and a spell 50% of the time.

even birds reveal my char.

Mybe I'm crazy, but it seems that at 120 stealth I do a whole lot better than when I ran 80.

Still though, when you get a tile or two away from people you get revealed insanely often, so the melee or theif stealther is jacked.

I made some changes to stealth and detect hidden yesterday, but they haven't made it past QA and onto the TC yet.
