Here's what I posted on this thread. Were the free 9th Anniversary gifts turned off for American Shards today?

For the American shards: Legends, Atlantic, LS, GL, Chesapeake, Catskills, Seige, Pacific, Sonoma, Lake Austin, Baja, and Napa, no characters are getting the free gift, whether in backpack or bank account, and multiple reloggings have been tried. On all other shards, every character has gotten the gift without hitch. The one exception is Origin of which I do not have any characters on the shard. Additionally, the characters on the American shards that were created after Age of Shadows are still getting the gump :"Ultima Online Reward Program: Thank you for being part of the Ultima Online Community for over 6 months. As a token of our appreciation your stat cap will be increased.", so the system obviously sees them as over 30 days old, but still no gift. ( For the characters created before Age of Shadows, they already have the stat cap, so no new gump for it).

None have empty bank boxes.

I checked a couple characters and the item count for my backpack and bank matches all the items I counted in them(none of them 9th anniversary gifts) so it is not a matter of them being overlooked or invisible.

The account that I did characters on yesterday still has all the 9th anniversary gifts on all the characters I randomly checked just now, this includes American shards.
The account Im having a problem with today, Ive logged and relogged several times, and waited an hour and logged them again and still 0 gifts on any characters on American shards. All other shards, I recieved the gifts on all characters.

*edited to add :I have tried dying and I have crossed server lines, even though I'm pretty sure the problem is not on my end. Neither worked.

That seems to match the sequence of events.

The account that did get the gifts is the one that I've been playing the most lately. I don't read the boards as often as I should, so I didn't even know that we were getting gifts. All I knew was that I logged on and there was this box that I didn't recognize in my pack. When I opened it and realized what it was, I thought, "Oh goody!" and logged in all of the characters from that account and placed their pieces of furniture in their house so I could see them all. I was going to do the other accounts, but it was late and I had to log.

So I logged back in the next day (being today, Nov 17), to get the other accounts. None of them have gifts. So I figure I'll check Stratics to find out what's up, and I see that they have posted the article linked above, copied from uo.com. But there's no trace of it actually on uo.com.

My best guess is that they put them out there and had to stop them for some reason that they just haven't announced yet. I bet they pulled the announcement off uo.com when they pulled the gifts.

This is all on Chesapeake by the way. I haven't even checked any characters that I might have on other shards because Chesapeake is the only shard I actively play.

...oops. We accidentally turned this code off when we turned off the Halloween event code. Because we're having quite enough publish fun this week, we're going to hold off a couple of days to turn it back on, but it'll go back up next week and everyone will get their gifts. We'll also extend the total time as necessary. Sorry about that!

I have 9 accounts and had gone through them a few days ago and took off all my anniv gifts on every char for my first 5 accts...none were missing, every char got one. However, when going into the other 4 accts last night, NONE of those chars had any gifts on them. My father also has multiple accts and had the same thing happen.

Since we had been participating on the Grim Reaper scenario, we didn't get to the other accounts, and since there was no warning about it, didn't think the gifts would be deleted only approx 2 weeks since they were given.

I hope these gifts can be replaced on the chars that didn't get any...It's almost half of all the gifts I was due...$40 a month worth =((((

When we turn the code back on, any chars that didn't get them will get them. That should happen early this week - next time we publish.
