weapons question

Hi all, had an armor question, now i have a weapons question . First off if a weapon has a 20% chance of fireball, does this mean 20% of the time when it hits the person will get hit with a fireball? Also if that is true what determines the strength of that fireball?

The strength of the fireball is that of the magery spell.



The spell damage is based on 100 eval intelligence, if I recall correctly. I think Leurocian posted on this topic, but I didn't bother to search it out. Sorry.

Well, personally I kind of want to slay the dragon. Let's go to work.

I don't recall ever answering this question. However, I just checked the code, and the minimum Eval Int is 80 for items (not 100).

Wow thx for the quick responses. Have anotehr question, maybe its more of an armor question thats tied to weapons? Either way, the max resist i can have in armor is 70 for all resists. How does this determine how much dmg my wep does? So if i have 70 phys resist, and i hit get hit with a wep thats all phys do i ignore 70% of it? Any help on how this works is greatly appreciated.
