We need a pre - aos Archive, yes indeedy.... So we can all start posting pre - aos topics without the mods coming and locking are post 24/7

Perhaps they get locked because they are majoritively trolls, done by people who know that it's a controversial topic, even though it has been stated on a number of occasions that it's not really possible. The best you'll get is another unique shard

Oh, and be careful, don't go around starting threads that discuss moderator actions, as those will also be locked.

Aren't you permanently banned from playing UO? Don't you think it's time to move on? Even if they did decide to create a pre-whatever shard, you'll never play on it....

To answer your question.....There never ever will be a pre-whatever shard. The folks that keep bringing it just need to take a deep breath and open their eyes to reality. EA said no; the cost would be too high; you won't be able to get a majority of people to agree what pre-whatever shard ruleset they want; most non-stratics people don't care; etc. etc. etc.
