This is the smartest sentence in the entire thread. I cannot even begin to stress enough the importance of this sentence. In fact, this sentence should be plastered in big letters on top of U.Hall for everyone to see.

I don't always agree with dev decisions (for example, I think soulstones in general are a bad idea), but in the end, all I can do is sit back and enjoy the game for what it is, and offer constructive feedback to help the developers steer the game in what is hopefully the right direction.

Thy viewpoint is obviously tainted by such pigments, for the neon garishness in which they bathe the land is a nauseating insult vomited upon us for the sake of those whose eyes are widened by a flitter thing such as glitter, and whose memory of Britannia extends not before the Age of SunSword. Were a metallic dyetub to be given to us as a gift, we would surely rejoice in our ability to return small slivers of our world to the natural colors which were once plentiful. Soulstones are a further piece of rock candy and welcomed with open arms by those swathed in neon the way a bottle is welcomed by a baby.

I wanted Tokens because I would probably have bought a couple. Oh well I can still pick some anyway.

But it does seem odd that 1 Vet reward out of the entire system is account bound?

Re: *WARNING*...long post contains WHINING

Deraj said it pretty well.

People generally want what's good for themselves, completely lacking a concept of the bigger picture where there's other people involved as well. It's always boggled my mind how some folks seem to think it's fine to turn a game utterly stupid as long as they get their artifact.

And for that artifact to actually mean anything, everyone should NOT get it. I get the feeling people against any more soulstones have enough of them already...?

Soulstones as an idea are rather bad, I definitely agree with that. Or at least they should've been limited to a certain total amount per account to prevent folks from keeping a library of all skills and switching at will. But since they're implemented already, there should be a steady source for all to get some.

As for stone vs token form, is there really any question? Soulstones are meant to be account bound, of course they won't be tokens. That would be... stupid. Stupidity is bad mmkay?
