I had a great time on the halloween shard. I'd like to see something like that again.

I will say that the main reason I went to go play there is the lag during that time was terrible on Sonoma. I figured I would check it out and stayed for a week. Great Fun!

some silly things I'd (attempt to) do if I was a dev:

- allow us to import copies of all our characters to the hallowe'en shard, but have permadeath (any attempt to rez returns a zombie version of the character)
- do a data dump of all the stratics userids and just put our names on all the trolls
- ghosts standing around named after all the dead MMORPGs which were going to destroy UO
- rat invasion of Luna, all named after all the characters of deleted dupers
- turn all the NPCs into Inu clones (dump the complete works of Shakespere into their random vocabulary when spoken to)
- corpses don't decay during the event
- craftable jack-o-lanterns (as decorations? as explosion potions?)
- swap the graphics of mongbats and dragons. (for that matter, randomly swap the graphics of all creatures ... why should player characters be the only ones to go in diguise?)


And YES PLEASE to the Shard of Screams!

I would rather see something special added to all shards for a short period of time, like the Leprechauns were added that one time, for St. Patrick's day. Something the players have to explore to find, or discover it. *examines Iron Maiden* Whoah! I didn't know there was a real maiden in there! Ugh! *chokes/coughs/splutters* "The stench overwhelms you and you are dead!" That kind of thing.

Yeah I would love to see more special events for the holidays again, maybe like a trick or treat event where you can go to NPC's around all facets and say "Trick or Treat" and a random Treat (be it a piece of candy or a nice little trinket maybe even make like a 1:1mil chance of getting a nice rare item) or they do a trick to you like for 24hrs your char gets squelched, or you hair color changes to something really ugly or strange for a week then changes back. *Shrugs* just an idea.

I agree that we need more ingame holiday events. I remember waking up on a holiday and getting a cool little gift. made the game a little more interesting.

I'd like to see something done on the regular shards. Just something small, silly, and fun. I enjoyed the Halloween Shard, but I prefer to trick-or-treat in my own neighborhood, thanks!

Eowyna, you have a large neighborhood, the shard is all yours.

Yes I have a sugestion how about not makeing it a giant shard of death upon creation and one hit kills.

Sorry last years was a complete dissapointment. it was a perma grey screan for me no matter what i tried 2 seconds of color (alive) in a non stop till i logged out grey world (dead)

I had a good time. I was a terathan. We kicked the ophidians' butts. I still have screens. And trick or treating was fun too.
