Use best weapon skill

Ok heres my question if i have mace fighting swords fencing all turned up and use a use best weapon skill weapon to fight with will i gain in all 3 skills?

Nope. If you have all three skills marked up, you will only gain in the skill the weapon is primarily for. The other two combat skills will not rise.

Btw, I found this out by going on TC1 and trying it out....

You will gain in whatever wepskill you got pointing up with a ubws wep, but dont know why you want to have 3 skills pointed up anyway. You will however gain in the lowest skill when 3 points pointing up.

Lets put on our thinking caps people and get to what the real poster is asking.

'I'd like to make a macer/fencer/swordsman and instead of working each character, I want to get golem, set my UBWS to beat on him until I hit legendary in each skill and the soulstone them to the other characters.'

That is what he is asking. He wants to know if he can GM multiple skills by not being at the computer while he whacks a golem in his house.

Am I wrong??

I agree with Jeremy, as there are 2 different answers posed here. I can say that from reading the thread, I can't tell who's right - would love to hear the answer in a FoF.

Wouldn't that eliminate the need for FoF to answer anything about in game items or use?
