Perhaps I was a bit selfish because none of the info *I* wanted to hear got covered. Perhaps I am still pissed because they still have not announced anything decent about SA or coming expansions. Perhaps I still expect the standard to be set high and demand a whole slice of bread instead of a few crums that would keep most people happy. But then... Perhaps I'm wrong. |

Would be even better if when a house would explode with a scripter inside, the scripter would be perma-dead! Then the bodyparts of the scripting character would be instantly teleported to Umbra and locked down on a pile with a decay time of one week. Heh, would be the ultimate method to measure EA's scripter smackdown. The higher the pile, the more scripters went kaboom! *imagines* |

On another note I really like that they are motivated to removing fragments and "dead" npc's from earlier quests. Although. for other mmorpg's this would be mandatory I could mention. Alas UO was the first so I understand the amount is not comparable. Quote:

That chat contains really no *future proofing* of UO - talking of removing age old bugs? destroying cheater's houses? Sorry to be the cynic but wow I am impressed [not] These are things which should have been done already and looking to move forward [aka Stygian Abyss for example]. Yes the devs are great people and UO is still *potentially* a great game but it has to move with the times and offer a more immersive playing experience, new content, better graphics, less bugs, more pvp fixes, more fun ![]() EA - are you listening? Make a sexy new client and you will get 1000s of players coming home - by sexy go look at the market leader's and get the hint ![]() I love UO but I just cant bear to look at it on my screen anymore. =/
