UO Players turn thier hand to Marketing

If EA Mythic wants UO:REBORN to be a smashing success they will take my advice. All they simply have to do is:

1. Place the UO:REBORN software with 30 days free game time in every Dark Ages of Camelot & WarHammer Box. (won't include special offers)

2. Place the Dark Ages of Camelot & WarHammer software with 30 days free game time in every UO:REBORN box.

3. Offer the ability to play all three games UO:REBORN, Dark Ages of Camelot, and WarHammer on one account for the low subscription price of $25/month. Yet still continue to offer the current monthly subscription price rates for UO.

4. Offer two ways to upgrade to UO:REBORN

a. If you buy UO:REBORN with the $49.99 upgrade your account will have the ability to own one additional house for a total of two houses. In addition you can increase your current homes to castle size that can finally be customized to fit your style. Finally two years of invested veteran status will be added to your current account age. (example: 1 year accts gain 3 year status)

b. If you buy UO:REBORN with the $19.99 upgrade your account just gets the awesome new client including the increased veteran status.

5. UO Staff @ EA Mythic please feel free to include any additional perks to those mentioned upgrades above such as adding one Tenth Anniversary Token, one Name Changing Token, one Character Transfer Token, one Advanced Character token, one full Soulstone Token (purple), and one Gender Changing Token.

6. Last marketing idea, but this is a biggy. Buy a 30 minute time slot spot on the Cartoon Network, SPIKE TV, MTV, and/or the Sci-Fi Channel with 8 minute short clip movies of the games Ultima On-line, Dark Ages of Camelot, and WarHammer using actual game graphics, fresh storylines utilizing in game abilities and items, and cliff hanger plots that can be completed in game by newbie characters in a beginners quest. Who knows these fledgling short stories could bloom into full on cartoon animated series similar to games like Final Fantasy. Also offer viewers who watch the 30 minute show an opportunity to win a lifetime free game account to all three games.

There was the 8th Anniversary box last year, and we have one currently on store shelves in Japan. The 9th anniversary box will be out in October and should appeal to vets and new players alike. UO SE was the last boxed game to hit the store shelfs
