Well there are some actual nice mmo's with sci-fi and fanasty mixed. I beta tested one. and it was nice having four different races with different outlooks on technogoy(Sp) and other things this was from Europa I think

Ultima 4 quest of the avatar was released by origin for free
you can downlaod it here you may need somthing like DOSbox to play it.

U4 is the one that introduced the virtues so I think it is worth playing

well Ultima VI: The False Prophet was releassed for the pc in 1990 and then again in 1991 for the amiga

Worlds of Ultima 2: Martian Dreams was also released in 1991 but was not very ultima'ish (ok not a real word but sounds good)

next was Ultima Underworld: The Stygian Abyss in 1991

it was followd quickly by Ultima Underworld II: Labyrinth of Worlds in 1992

but the next main Ultima title was Ultima VII: The Black Gate it was also released in 1992 and is in most peoples opinion the best Ultima game

so not sure witch game you had do you remember anything about it? was it 3d first person? or classic 3/4 top down view? and on what type of computer?
