Hats off to whoever decided to get rid of server lines with the new client. Out of all the things this client could have done this is by far the highest thing on my wishlist. If for no other reason, because of this I am looking forward to UO:KR.

I've always had mages server hop lol I think thats a shard specific thing however. But halleluja amen rejoice rejoice to getting rid of server lines. Server hopping trash has annoyed me to a extent on one level or another for almost a decade, now if we can only do something about 4/6 chiv n put it to where magery is then we'd be set lol.

Did they really say this? Server lines are going away?

How will that work? All of a shard on one server rather than the subservers we have now? Or will it be divided into Felucca, Trammel, Felucca Dungeons/The Lost Lands, Trammel Dungeons/The Lost Lands, Ilshenar, Malas, Tokuno, since those crossings are all conducted through gateways?

Some details on what this means would be nice. Getting rid of subservers would greatly benefit seafarers in UO. Smoother sailing.

I'm REALLY confused now... where are you seeing info that we're "getting rid" of server lines?

(In my understanding, we'd have to completely rebuild the server structure from the ground up to do that - and we're not, we're rebuilding the CLIENT, which is totally different)

Hmmm that reads to me like they are NOT getting rid of server lines, and that some rumor just got wildly propagated... (ie. Jeremy's comment at the end)
