Test the 8th Age Items on Test Center

Today we will be putting the 8th Age Items on the Test Center to ensure they are working properly for the 8th Age launch.

If you would like to help test the 8th Age items, please log into the Test Center and you will receive an 8th Age Token in your bank box.

Look for more information and the official 8th Age webpage this week.

I went and didn't get any token. But my characters still have the Tokuno Minors they gave us waaaay back when.

And yes they are for the 8th Anniversary Box that is coming out. Cross your fingers for a cloth map! lol

OK, I went to test center, and like Tukaram... no item token.

Guess I'll just have to wait for the website!

Ill be getting on shortly after server up when I get home...Ill hop on test and see if they are there yet. The general concensus on stratics is someone just jumped the gun posting the info...

If they force a purchase of another box/upgrade code on existing players, they're going to have a cyber-riot on their hands. Most people, at best, bit their lip and paid for 7ae since it wasn't really an expansion so to speak. At the least, they should give one gift away for free to those who have upgraded to ML. Drives me out of my mind when I have to buy a box that I'm going to grab the code off the jewelcase and then toss it into the closet to collect dust.

8th Age (8th Anniversary) is made to replace the box that ML didn't have. They said it will be a collectors type of thing. I imagine the gifts will be along the same lines as the 7th anniversary stuff.

There is no reason for people to have to buy the box. They can buy the gifts in game if they don't care to buy it. It's more for the people who collect the boxes and the stuff inside.

There was talk about a special map going into this box, but it was all hearsay and the devs only said they would see what they can do. Although that would be a nice selling factor for a lot of people.

It's not an expansion, so you guys don't have to worry about that. You won't HAVE to buy it, it will be optional.
