I am posting this in hopes Jeremy or someone who can investigate this issue reads this. I own a few homes but I own one small 8x7 in front of my castle that I have owned for over 2 years. I have not paid for that account in that length of time and the house has yet to decay. On Atlantic there are several small homes that I know for a fact have not been paid for in years. It leads me to believe that not all accounts are being reported to the billing database to the server or visa versa. I did not use a bug to not let it decay I had simply canceled that account in which I had intended to renew the house in about 80 days before it started to decay. It never decayed and the account is inactive and has been for over 2 years. Can anyone explain? I'm sure it just hasn't happened to me. I bet there are hundreds of homes that should have already fallen. It sounds like a bug with the communication between the billing database and the housing server.

Jeremy_EAMythic UO Community Coordinator Hey - send me a PM with the active account name, inactive account name, exact house location, house names, and any other details you think might possibly be relevant.

Well if your going to investigate, how about allowing all the houses that have been OSI Owned for years to drop. Should be fairly easy since it would of taken intervention in order for the house not to drop if the account was banned or otherwise inactive

Ah! excellent, ONE plausible account of a house on an account, not paid for/played, remaining long past, what is veiwed as "current" decay cycle.
It is Likely that some (many?) of the "immortal" Decaying houses are "stuck" in a similar "over looked" niche of the code.
MAYBE upon the roll back of decay cycle (90days down to 30days) ALL house's will get an audit.
Sets watch for 2nd Greatfall.

Id LOVE that!!

This contributes to the theory that not all homes are attatched to active accounts. I have yet to see anyone in the two homes next to me, which look like they were last customized around the release of ML. I think there are quite a few homes that have no active attatched and I would love to see them fall, if for no other reason then to open up more houseing to others.

not so i placed a house with a account that had been inactive during come back campaign

You can place a house with an account that has been inactive during a comeback promotion but that isn't what I meant. It doesn't "refresh" a house bound for decay. It doesn't change you inactive accoutn to "Active" on the account registration page either. So the house you placed on your "inactive" account during the comeback promotion should be doomed to fall in 90 days unless you pay for the account. Thanks Jermey for investigating this is a serious issue and hopefully will lead to the bug being discovered. If so this could mean more homes being available for active subscribers.

Jeremy_EAMythic UO Community Coordinator My request for info above applies to anyone with specific examples - account name, house location, house name. The more cases the more likely it is we'll find a pattern.
