how about those of us that are not able to play but keep our accounts active in the meantime, and cant even get in there to get these little treats....

Don't worry Bo, by the way some people are complaining you should be able to pick them up off the floor as their value won't be worth the vendor fees.

Or if you were in game, you wouldn't be able to get one as a drop 'cause while you DID target the one critter your killing, the 5 or 6 others that are attacking you won't count towards getting a drop 'cause you'll autodefend against those.

Does anyone else here find it humorous, tragically humorous, or perhaps a little bit disturbing that there is this much discussion about the subject of receiving these ridiculous items in a temporary event.

I could make a serious post regarding the major inherent flaws of core systems of the game, and it would be buried under pages of "OMG DEVS I'M NOT GETTING ARRRRTIEEESS AND THAT AFKER IS!!!"

There isnt many on my shard that know these items will no longer spawn after october 25th. So Im actually happy because all the items I've sold for relatively good prices makes me money but also I know those items will be worth more and the people will thank me later for the good deal I usually play about 5 hours a night and get about 5 arties. I sell each artie for around 300-500k and 1 mil for a piece of virtue. So far this isnt many with a full suit. I have one as well as one of my guild mates and about 2 others Ive seen.

A few of my guildmates have full suits already.

And wasn't it in one of the Five On Friday announcements somewhere saying that the event is going to last longer than a month, and possibly become permanent?

Indeed,I feel for those servicemen and women, who through no fault of their own miss out on stuff like this

I could have sworn a LONG time ago, when the first pieces were implemented, that they said that eventually when all the pieces were put in game they'd be attainable indefinately (along with the heritage token pieces being able to be obtained through other means).

I'm not going to dig for the post, but I'm pretty sure that's what was said.

I do hope they are attainable indefinately, cause I wouldnt mind trying to get the full suit eventually. I dont know what all the mods to it are, but I spent an hour trying to get that stupid cloak, and then like 4 hours helping guildies get theirs, and this was all during the invasion of (Vesper, I think it was). So getting in and out of that museum place with lots of materials was not the easiest thing in the world.

So for all the troops over here who are stuck in this place for extended periods of time, who keep their accounts active, because EA REFUSES to do some sort of "help our troops out by letting them shut their accts down but keep their houses while they are deployed" promotion, and are basically getting FREE money from us, just because we dont want to lose our houses or years and years worth of stuff, they should do something damnit!

Credit card companies, insurance companies, and stuff like that do offer a program like it so why the hell cant a game do it?
